Comrade Do Huu Huy, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Communist Party, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and PPC Chairman has recently chaired a meeting on the organization of the 2026 Investment Promotion Conference, the announcement of the adjusted planning for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, alongside the development of a plan for organizing the “Businessmen Coffee” program.

The conference aims to officially announce the provincial development plan for the new period, thereby providing comprehensive information on the development orientation for space, society-economy, and provincial long-term priority areas.

The conference also serves as a forum for businesses, investors, the Central ministries and agencies, regional provinces, together with provincial departments and localities to meet, exchange, as well as discuss policies, potential, and investment opportunities, as well as difficulties alongside obstacles in the implementation process, which lead to propose specific solutions to enhance the attraction of investment capital into the provincial areas of strength.

The conference is scheduled to be held over two days (approximately from June 10th to 15th, 2026), themed “Dak Lak - Potential and Aspiration for Development”. In addition, side events will take place, such as the groundbreaking/inauguration of several typical works and projects; bilateral meetings between provincial leaders together with businesses and investors to research as well as explore investment opportunities in the province, etc.

Regarding conference preparations, the Department of Finance has completed a promotional video highlighting the potential along with strengths of Dak Lak province with the theme “Dak Lak - Potential and Aspiration for Development”; and will coordinate with Dak Lak Newspaper and Radio - Television to release a video clip introducing the adjusted provincial planning as soon as the policy is decided to implement it.

The Department of Finance has also prepared documents providing an overview of the provincial potential and strengths; selected projects to build a list of projects to attract investment alongside a list of key projects to call for investment to be presented at the Conference.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Do Huu Huy requested that departments together with agencies review documents and side events, as well as find consulting units to ensure that preparations for the Conference meet the requirements of enhancing scale and commensurate with the local potential. Accordingly, departments along with agencies must proactively approach large domestic and foreign economic groups; aiming for the core objective of organizing substantive activities through signing memorandum of understanding alongside commencing key projects within the event framework.

In addition, the content of the Conference must closely adhere to the resolutions of the Central Committee, especially on the development of private enterprises, industrial parks, science and technology, combined with culture and tourism, ensuring clear direction as well as directly serving the growth objective. The development of a detailed investment portfolio and the preparation of promotional materials need to be professional, as this is a decisive factor in attracting strategic investors.
