The province aims to promote sustainable cultural, social and environmental progress, improve living standards, and unlock its unique identity and local potentials.

Vietnam climbed to the 46th place in the World Happiness Report 2025, its highest position since the ranking was introduced in 2012.
In its latest list, the US-based magazine noted that while cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City attract millions of visitors each year, Vietnam’s true allure lies in its diverse natural landscapes and immersive travel experiences. The country, it said, is “a haven for outdoor enthusiasts” and anyone drawn to scenic beauty.
By sustainably harnessing natural resources while preserving indigenous cultural values, Dak Lak province is gradually turning internal strengths into drivers for long-term green growth.
Dak Lak province has currently possessed an incredibly rich cultural ecosystem, from majestic mountains to the blue sea in the East, which creates a foundation for developing a new-scale tourism promotion strategy, centered on heritage and with the community as the key driving force.
Tourism experts attributed the strong growth to a combination of factors, including more open visa policies, diversified tourism products, and intensified promotion activities. Vietnam’s growing reputation as a safe and friendly destination has also played a significant role in attracting international travellers.
The plan is designed to secure timely, coordinated, efficient and effective enforcement of the law.
