Welcoming a new development journey

The success of the 14th National Party Congress has sparked renewed confidence and expectations among people in ethnic minority and border areas.

These days, in Da Ban village (Tay Son commune), the 14th National Party Congress is frequently discussed during village meetings, by the evening hearth fires or after working hours. Ma Dinh, a respected community figure in Da Ban, said local residents were delighted with the Congress’s successful outcome. In recent years, thanks to the Party’s and State’s attention, many policies and guidelines have been implemented, bringing tangible improvements to the village, from rural roads, electricity and clean water to poverty reduction programmes and production support.

However, livelihoods remain challenging, particularly in building sustainable income sources, raising earnings and adapting to new development requirements. Against this backdrop, orientations set out by the 14th National Party Congress -  including prioritising infrastructure investment, developing human resources and narrowing regional development gaps - are widely expected to be translated into concrete outcomes at the grassroots level.

From the border area, Phan Thuy Tien, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ea Bung commune, said Party members and local residents were encouraged and confident in the new directions, strategic tasks and leadership elected by the Congress, reaffirming their firm trust in the Party’s leadership for the new tenure.

To celebrate the Congress’s success, the locality will organise cultural and arts activities marking the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026) and welcoming the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo, fostering a joyful and upbeat atmosphere among Party members and the public.

Aligned with the Central Committee’s vision, as well as the key tasks and breakthroughs set by the Dak Lak provincial Party Committee, the locality will step up digital transformation in line with the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; streamlining the administrative apparatus, building a multi-skilled workforce capable of handling multiple tasks, and shifting from a management-oriented to a service-oriented administration.

At the same time, tasks will be carried out in line with the “six clear” principle: clear responsibilities, clear tasks, clear timelines, clear accountability, clear outputs and clear authority.

Nguyen Van Tan, a Party member working in the border commune of Ia Rve, also expressed confidence in the nation’s new era. He noted that the Party has defined a long-term vision and a sustainable development mindset, placing people at the centre, as both the subject and the ultimate goal of all policies. As a result, border communities are placing strong expectations on the new development journey following the 14th National Party Congress, towards stability and shared prosperity.

In particular, Party members and residents hope and trust that new policies will continue to prioritise infrastructure investment, promote solid socio-economic development in border areas, ensure sustainable poverty reduction and gradually improve living standards.
