Accelerating projects to drive breakthrough growth

Dak Lak province identified accelerating project progress, particularly infrastructure works and large-scale developments, as a key driver of achieving growth target of 10% or higher.

Removing infrastructure bottlenecks

From the beginning of the year, the province has taken decisive measures to address difficulties as well as accelerate strategic infrastructure projects, especially those enhancing regional connectivity.

Regarding the North - South high-speed railway project, although still in preparation phase, the province has proactively established a site clearance steering committee and is coordinating with central ministries alongside agencies to carry out measurement, inventory, and compensation planning.

According to comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, accelerating project progress is not only a matter of timing but also a measure of governance capacity and responsibility at each level, sector, as well as leader. Transport infrastructure serves as “lifeblood” of economy and must therefore be prioritised with the highest level of determination in leadership along with direction. Removing bottlenecks will accelerate projects, generating strong spillover effects, opening up new development space, together with enhancing provincial competitiveness in the coming period.
