On the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Binh Ngo) 2026, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, paid visits and extended new year greetings to several religious establishments across the province.
During the visit, the Provincial Party Secretary conveyed Lunar New Year greetings to Most Venerable Thich Chau Quang, Member of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Sangha in Dak Lak province, also Abbot of Khai Doan Pagoda; Bishop Gioan Baotixita Nguyen Huy Bac representing the Buon Ma Thuot Diocese; Pastor Huynh Cuong, serving on the Pastoral Committee of the Vietnam Evangelical Church (South); along with Pastor Y Tuan Mlo, who leads the Representative Board of the Evangelical Church in Dak Lak province.

At each venue, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet cordially inquired about religious activities as well as the living conditions of dignitaries and functionaries, while conveying New Year wishes for health, peace and happiness to religious dignitaries, functionaries, and followers across the province.
The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that religious organisations along with faith communities have made significant contributions to the 2025 provincial socio-eco achievements, particularly through charitable activities, relief operations, and disaster recovery efforts, thereby promoting the spirit of mutual support and compassion while reinforcing the great national unity bloc.
Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet underscored that the 14th National Party Congress concluded with notable success, outlining objectives to firmly uphold a peaceful, stable environment; foster swift, sustainable national growth; steadily raise the population’s quality of life; reinforce strategic autonomy alongside self-reliance and confidence while moving resolutely into a new era of development; aim by 2030 for the status of a developing nation with modern industry and upper-middle income; ultimately fulfilling the 2045 vision of a developed, high-income country - a peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, civilised, and happy socialist Vietnam.
In pursuit of these objectives, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet highlighted the necessity of collective resolve and cohesion throughout the political system alongside society as a whole. Within this framework, religious organisations are expected to consistently comply with the Party’s guidelines together with the State’s policies and laws, further advancing their role in consolidating the great national unity bloc, reinforcing community solidarity, contributing to the growth of Dak Lak province, while also delivering meaningful input into the national overall development.
The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the provincial leadership consistently values the role of religious organisations, regarding them as an integral component within the great national unity bloc. Comrade also expressed the hope that religious establishments will continue accompanying Party committees alongside authorities in maintaining stability, sharing difficulties, spreading the spirit of compassion, thereby reinforcing public trust, while joining hands in building Dak Lak into a province experiencing rapid, sustainable growth.
Representatives of religious establishments expressed their gratitude for the attention shown by the provincial leadership, while affirming their commitment to continue disseminating guidance, encouraging followers to uphold the tradition of patriotism, live a life that is “good in both secular and religious matters”, as well as contribute to the development of Dak Lak province into an increasingly prosperous locality.
