On March 31, Permanent Board of the Provincial Party Committee convened the 15th regular meeting of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to review and provide opinions on key matters.

At the meeting, delegates focused on reviewing and providing opinions on the draft report on first-quarter implementation tasks together with key directions and tasks for the second quarter of 2026.
In the first quarter of 2026, the Provincial Party Committee provided comprehensive leadership and direction across socio-eco development, national defence and security, Party building as well as the political system; successfully organised elections of deputies to the National Assembly together with People’s Councils at all levels, with voter turnout reaching 99.96%. The economy maintained growth momentum, with GRDP estimated to increase by 7.49%; total social investment reached 12,245 billion VND. State budget revenue totalled 5,057 billion VND. Cultural and social sectors were maintained; social welfare policies were fully implemented, allocating over 43 billion VND to support policy beneficiaries during Tet.
The meeting reviewed alongside provided opinions on draft documents, including: Resolution of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on strengthening Party leadership over ethnic and religious policies for the 2026 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2045; Resolution on implementing the National Target Programme on new rural development for the 2026 - 2030 period, orientation to 2035; Programme of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on developing science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation in Dak Lak province for the 2026 - 2030 period.
The meeting also reviewed draft plans and programmes, including: plan of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on coffee replanting in Dak Lak province for the 2026 - 2030 period; action programme of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on preserving and promoting cultural heritage values in Dak Lak province for the 2025 - 2030 period, with orientation to 2035; action programme on training and improving human resource quality aligned with development of key sectors such as high-tech agriculture, services, tourism, manufacturing and processing industries, as well as renewable energy for the 2026 - 2030 period; the action programme on implementing Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW dated January 6, 2026 of the Politburo on developing the state economy.
Delegates also provided opinions on the plan to compile, print, and publish the book “History of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee (1930 - 2025)”; issuance of a regulation replacing Regulation No. 1816-QD/TU dated June 27, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee regarding rights and responsibilities of enterprise owners under provincial Party management; action programme to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress; along with draft report by the Provincial Party Standing Committee on implementation of the 14th National Party Congress Resolution, in conjunction with preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 tenure in the province.

In concluding remarks, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged achievements in the first quarter, pointed out existing limitations, as well as required all levels and sectors to act decisively alongside concretely, with comprehensive innovation in leadership together with governance. He called for socio-eco development to be managed according to growth scenarios, assigned clear accountability to each individual and unit; strengthened inspection along with evaluation; as well as bold replacement of officials who fail to meet requirements. Leadership together with direction must be measurable through concrete outputs and results.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasised the need to identify breakthrough priorities, focusing on administrative reform, improving investment environment, accelerating completion of provincial master plan, and enhancing cadre contingent quality. Preparations must be made for the 2026 investment promotion conference in conjunction with announcement of the provincial master plan; public investment disbursement must be accelerated. The PPC should proactively work with central authorities to mobilise resources for key projects; review and decisively address delayed projects showing signs of waste. In terms of social welfare, it is necessary to improve effectiveness of poverty reduction as well as implement national target programmes effectively; simultaneously, thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the 14th National Party Congress Resolution, ensuring unity across the political system, striving to achieve double-digit growth together with successfully fulfil targets and tasks for 2026.
