Construction work across the province has been stepped up at numerous sites ahead of the 14th National Party Congress.
At the road project linking Bai Goc Port with National Highway 1 towards Van Phong Economic Zone, construction has been carried out intensively from early morning to late afternoon. Along the entire route, contractors have deployed numerous simultaneous work fronts; implementing the "roll-out" method with a focus on roadbeds, leveling, compaction, and slope reinforcement.

Similarly, a high work tempo is evident at the project for the emergency treatment and recovery of coastal erosion in An My - An Chan area. Concrete components are being continuously cast on site, while trucks transporting stone and construction materials operate in and out of the site. Project owners and supervising consultants maintain a regular on-site presence to promptly resolve bottlenecks and require contractors to increase shifts and mobilise additional manpower and equipment. The overarching objective is to ensure safety and quality while accelerating progress to protect the coastline and stabilise the livelihoods of affected residents.
Accelerating to meet completion targets is also the shared goal of the project owner and contractors at Road No. 14, a key urban infrastructure project invested by the Provincial Investment Project Management Board with a total capital of 238.48 billion VND. The nearly 2.1-km route connects Nguyen Tat Thanh street with Doc Lap street and features a 40-metre cross-section. The project is being developed in a synchronised manner, covering asphalt pavement, drainage systems, pavements, greenery, street lighting and traffic-safety facilities. Once completed, the road will contribute to completing the urban transport network while creating new momentum for socio-economic development and urban upgrading.
Construction units are currently focusing on final works, including installing lighting systems, planting greenery, painting road markings, erecting traffic signs and deploying traffic lights at the intersection of Road No. 14 and Hung Vuong street. According to Dam Thanh Phong, Head of Quality Management No.3 Division of the Provincial Investment Project Management Board, the main construction items have largely been completed, with remaining works being expedited to bring the road into operation before the Lunar New Year, thereby creating a more modern and orderly urban appearance.
From key transport projects to urgent disaster-prevention works, a common feature is the serious, responsible and determined working spirit demonstrated by project owners, contractors, supervising consultants and on-site workers. Each completed section of road and each accelerated construction item not only generates socio-economic value but also vividly reflects the province’s active momentum ahead of the 14th National Party Congress.
