The province’s socio-economic performance continues to record positive growth, with many key targets met and exceeded. Average per capita income is estimated at over 80 million VND per year, a clear reflection of sustained efforts to improve living standards, ensure social welfare, and extend the benefits of development to all areas.
Agriculture remains a mainstay of Dak Lak’s economy, while undergoing a strong transition towards modernity and sustainability. More than 210,000 hectares of coffee produce over 500,000 tonnes annually, maintaining the province’s leading position nationwide. Other key agricultural products such as durian, reaching nearly 392,000 tonnes, and pepper, exceeding 48,000 tonnes, continue to strengthen their brands and gradually penetrate international markets.
Total export turnover has increased sharply, with major products reaching further afield, helping to enhance Dak Lak’s position within national and global value chains.

One of the province’s most notable achievements lies in its comprehensive investment in infrastructure. Inter-regional transport routes and key projects are being implemented with strong determination, expanding development space and creating new momentum for growth.
Confidence for a new phase
Amid this development trajectory, the greatest source of satisfaction is the consensus and close bond of the people with the Party and the authorities.
In the border area of Buon Don, development gains are also clearly reflected in daily life. Nguyen Canh Tung, Chairman of the Buon Don commune People’s Committee, said that although border areas still face many difficulties, local residents consistently receive special attention and support from the Party and the State. Through national target programmes, households are assisted with seedlings, livestock, and guidance on new farming techniques to achieve sustainable poverty reduction. The people’s trust in the Party is the firmest foundation for safeguarding border security and jointly building a prosperous life and a stable frontier.
According to Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, in the new phase Dak Lak will focus on rapid, sustainable, civilised development while preserving its distinctive identity, with determination to achieve double-digit growth.
The province closely integrates economic development with the assurance of social welfare, improvement of living standards, protection of the ecological environment, and maintenance of national defence and security. The provincial Party organisation will promote solidarity, innovation, and aspiration for advancement, effectively harnessing potential and advantages, mobilising all resources for rapid and sustainable development, and continuing to improve the lives of the people.
