In 2026, as multiple tax reduction policies continue to be implemented to support enterprises alongside individuals, Dak Lak province is deploying comprehensive measures for managing revenue sources, preventing revenue losses, and tapping potential sources effectively, striving to fulfil state budget revenue targets.
Proactive management and mobilisation of revenue sources
In 2026, the province’s state budget revenue collection is expected to face considerable challenges. Nevertheless, revenue performance in the first months of 2026 has shown positive signals. According to the Dak Lak Tax Department, total state budget revenue in the first two months reached 3,910 billion VND, equivalent to 23% of the estimate assigned by the central government, alongside 21.8% of the estimate assigned by the provincial People’s Council, up 11% year on year.

Comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan, Head of Dak Lak Tax Department, stated that from the beginning of 2026, the tax sector has prioritised implementing multiple measures to strictly manage revenue sources and effectively exploit remaining potential. Local tax units have conducted thorough reviews of each revenue stream while closely monitoring enterprises’ production and business activities to assess revenue capacity, thereby enabling timely management measures.
The tax sector is also focusing on areas with untapped potential, including e-commerce, gold and silver trading, property leasing, mineral resource extraction, the night-time economy, revenues from business households, along with revenues related to land and off-site construction activities, in order to offset potential declines in other sources.
Strengthening measures to prevent revenue losses
Alongside the tax sector’s measures, the Steering Committee for Revenue Collection Acceleration and Prevention of State Budget Losses of Dak Lak province has directed departments, sectors, together with localities to implement various solutions aimed at increasing budget revenues.
The province is prioritising auctions of land use rights for projects that have completed legal procedures, while also planning to auction unfinished projects once procedures are completed. Relevant agencies are also addressing obstacles in accessing capital from the Land Development Fund to invest in infrastructure serving land auctions.

Regarding tax debt management, authorities continue to implement the Scheme on strengthening tax debt management and enforcement. During construction project bidding, the financial capacity of enterprises with outstanding tax debts will be strictly assessed. The province is also applying measures to recover land from cases involving delayed payment of land rental and land use fees in accordance with regulations.
In the minerals sector, the province continues to implement the Scheme on enhancing the state management in preventing budget revenue losses. Functional agencies are strengthening oversight of resource exploitation, reviewing mining operations, and promptly detecting and strictly handling violations.
Comrade Ho Thi Nguyen Thao, PPC Standing Vice Chairwoman and Head of the Steering Committee for Revenue Collection Acceleration and Prevention of State Budget Losses of Dak Lak province, has requested agencies, units, along with localities to enhance coordination in revenue management and expedite the recovery of tax arrears, while intensifying financial measures to meet and exceed 2026 budget revenue targets.
Simultaneously, departments and sectors are required to improve the investment and business environment in order to attract enterprises. Local authorities must accelerate ongoing projects, particularly key ones, to bring them into operation soon, thereby contributing to economic growth and creating sustainable revenue sources for the local budget.
