With strategic thinking, a spirit of innovation and a drive for expansion, numerous women entrepreneurs in Dak Lak have boldly applied science, technology together with digital transformation to production as well as business, enabling local agricultural produce, tourism and aquaculture to enter demanding markets.
Building Dak Lak brand
Decisiveness and resilience are evident in the management of Dac Loc Aquaculture Co., Ltd. by businesswoman Nguyen Thi Nga. Her enterprise operates across a wide value chain, from broodstock production and aquaculture to feed alongside veterinary products to disease testing as well as specialised transport, covering species such as whiteleg shrimp, marine fish, spotted babylon snails and lobster.
Fully aware of the role played by science and technology, she established an R&D unit together with forged partnerships with research institutes, universities and experts to transfer technology into practical production. Dac Loc Aquaculture Co., Ltd. has secured multiple reputable certifications, including GlobalGAP, ASC, Vietnam Aquaculture Gold Quality along with the VietStock award. Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga has also received the “Outstanding Vietnamese Businesswoman - Golden Rose” award three times.

While Dac Loc Company has made a strong mark in aquaculture, Nutri Soil Import-Export JSC, led by Ms. Le Thi Trang, has developed innovative products from cocoa and macadamia, which are signature agricultural products of Dak Lak.
Established in 2017, Nutri Soil has pursued a deep-processing strategy to increase product value. The company continuously researches to preserve nutritional value while diversifying products such as macadamia oil and flavoured macadamia, including seaweed-shrimp alongside BBQ flavours. Strong market responsiveness has driven revenue growth in 2024 - 2025, increasing several-fold compared to earlier periods, far exceeding targets. Nutri Soil has become a key employer in the locality, particularly for ethnic minority women, helping improve livelihoods and support economic development in raw material zones.
Sustained innovation
Rather than following traditional farming practices, Banana Brothers Farm JSC (BBF) has adopted a high-tech circular model for sustainable banana production. By standardising processes and ensuring quality transparency, BBF’s fresh bananas are exported through official channels to demanding markets such as South Korea, Japan and China, with an annual output of 800 - 1,000 containers, equivalent to 8,000 - 10,000 tonnes.
BBF currently provides stable employment for hundreds of workers, including many from ethnic minorities such as Ede, H’Mong and Gie Trieng, contributing to higher incomes along with improved living standards. These efforts were recognised with the Vietnam Golden Star Award 2024.

In tourism, the wellness tourism model Happy Station in eastern Dak Lak, founded and operated by Ms. Huynh Thi Nhu Quynh, Director of HAPPYSTATION Cooperative, has achieved positive results.
What distinguishes Happy Station is not only its wellness tourism concept, but also its integrated service ecosystem. The project connects accommodation providers, organic farms combined with eco-tourism, herbal medicine centres, traditional craft villages, OCOP product facilities, and herbal therapy spas integrated with traditional medicine. Notably, project has applied digital transformation and AI in management to optimise operating costs while enhancing customer experience. It has also been recognised by the Vietnam Association for Women Entrepreneurs as one of the top 10 start-up projects led by women entrepreneurs.
These women entrepreneurs are increasingly affirming the pioneering role of women in digital era. They not only generate economic value but also promote social responsibility, building a sustainable development ecosystem for community.
