The Department of Finance reported positive progress in state budget collection province-wide since the beginning of the year, with revenue exceeding the 2026 growth scenario.

By the end of August, total state budget revenue had surpassed 11.397 trillion VND, equivalent to 66.6 % of the central Government-assigned estimate, 63.0 % of the provincial estimate. Revenue rose 7.8 % year on year, exceeding the projected growth scenario by 609.8 billion VND, against the target of 10.7877 trillion VND.

Domestic revenue accounted for 11.240 trillion VND, while customs revenue exceeded 106 billion VND. Other receipts, including aid, amounted to 51 billion VND. Notably, within domestic revenue, tax and fee collections reached 8.002 trillion VND, equivalent to 73.6 % of the 2026 annual target. Financial measures generated 2.883 trillion VND, or 43.2 %, while other receipts, mainly lottery revenue, exceeded 355 billion VND, equivalent to 88.9 % of the annual target.

Going forward, Dak Lak will strengthen state budget management, while stepping up efforts against revenue losses, transfer pricing, tax evasion and tax fraud. The province will also study decentralising auction authority to commune- and ward-level administrations for suitably sized land plots, particularly small parcels plus fragmented plots within residential areas. Dak Lak aims to fulfil its 2026 state budget revenue growth scenario, targeting a 10 % increase from the 2025 budget estimate.
