Located along Dak Lak provincial eastern coast, Ganh Den (Tuy An Dong commune) appears as a pristine natural landscape, where the azure sea, dramatic rock formations, and sky blend together to create a scene that is both majestic and peaceful.
Viewed from above, Ganh Den (approximately 1 km from Da Dia reef) features an expansive rocky headland stretching out into the sea. The rocks, in various shapes alongside sizes, have been eroded by waves and wind over millions of years, forming a unique landscape against the backdrop of the blue sea. A narrow concrete road winds along the rocky slopes leading to the headland, providing convenient access for visitors to exploring the cape.
The highlight of Ganh Den is the lighthouse, painted in red along with white, situated amidst coastline rocky cliffs. Besides guiding ships, the lighthouse is also a symbol contributing to affirming and protecting the sacred sovereignty of the national sea coupled with islands.
Ganh Den attracting tourists with its untouched scenery
From the rocky promontory, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view across vast sea and islets scattered along Xuan Dai Bay. At sunrise or sunset, Ganh Den becomes even more captivating as the sunlight bathes the rocks in vibrant orange as well as yellow hues.
