The congratulatory letters and messages reflect high appreciation for Vietnam’s historic achievements over 40 years of the Doi moi (Renewal) process, while expressing confidence that the Congress’s strategic decisions will continue to steer the country toward prosperity and happiness.

The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam on January 22 afternoon announced the results and approved the list of 200 newly-elected members of the 14th Party Central Committee, including 180 official members and 20 alternate members.

From 2021 to 2025, Vietnam proved itself to be a country that not only grows rapidly but also reforms in ways that make that growth more resilient, innovative and attractive to long-term investment.

Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi emphasised that in order to achieve fast development in the coming period, including double-digit growth, foreign affairs must play a proactive role in mobilising external resources while internal strength remains the decisive factor.

Within the programme of the 14th National Party Congress, group-based discussions and plenary sessions on the reports and documents submitted to the Congress were conducted in a serious, democratic and responsible manner.

Political parties, organisations, and international friends have continuously sent letters and messages of congratulations to the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), expressing solidarity and friendship, highly valuing the great achievements Vietnam has attained over 40 years of the Doi moi (Renewal) process, and expressing strong confidence that the Congress will be a resounding success and a historic milestone propelling Vietnam toward prosperity in a new era.
