Amid the jubilant atmosphere celebrating the resounding success of the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Party organisation, authorities and people of all ethnic groups in the province are filled with aspiration and ready in mindset to enter a new era, the era of the Vietnamese nation’s rise.

As for Dak Lak province, the 14th Party Congress as well as Binh Ngo Spring carry a more special significance than ever before. The historic decision on the merger has given Dak Lak an entirely new geopolitical and economic position on the country’s strategic map. With a large area, a sizeable population, both land borders and a long coastline, Dak Lak now possesses a broad and diverse development space, converging many distinctive factors in national defence and security, and rich development potential.

The important resolutions adopted by the provincial People’s Council at its sessions will contribute to steering Dak Lak towards rapid, sustainable development while preserving its distinctive identity.

All of this is creating a new opportunity for Dak Lak, no longer merely an area safeguarding border security, but standing before the prospect of becoming a modern growth pole of the country.

Shaping the future through aspiration and action

The 14th Party Congress set out strategic decisions, underscoring the need for a strong renewal of development thinking, the comprehensive improvement of institutions, and enhanced national governance capacity; identifying breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation and digital transformation as the central driving force; affirming green and sustainable development as an imperative requirement; and building a clean and strong Party and political system as the decisive factor for all successes.

For Dak Lak, this provides an important political foundation to continue refining its long-term development vision, shaping an integrated development model that harmonises the highlands with the seaward-oriented space, expanding growth potential and strengthening regional linkages and deep integration.

Shaping the future of Dak Lak is the cause of the entire population and the whole provincial political system. Each cadre and Party member must uphold a pioneering spirit, integrity and dedication; each citizen should continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, diligence and creativity; and the business community should proactively accompany the authorities in pursuit of the province’s sustainable development.

As the local state authority, under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, together with the provincial People’s Committee, the provincial People’s Council will continue to renew itself strongly, bring into play its mettle and intellect, act decisively with a high sense of responsibility, shape and promote strategic breakthroughs, paving the way for innovation and for rapid as well as sustainable development. The quality of oversight will be enhanced, with oversight regarded as a constructive instrument to promote development, combining building with combating, and taking building as the long-term fundamental approach.

At the same time, the role of elected representatives will continue to be promoted and affirmed in the new period. In this process, the thorough, democratic, safe and law-compliant preparation and organisation of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term is of particularly important significance.

Above all, this is to shape a development future whose ultimate destination is happiness, prosperity, and the improvement of the people’s material and spiritual life, in the spirit of the 14th Party Congress.

With steadfast confidence in the Party’s leadership, with strong aspiration to rise and a spirit of decisive action, the Party organisation, authorities and people of all ethnic groups in Dak Lak province are determined to unite and act in concert, turn vision into reality, build a homeland that develops rapidly, sustainably, rich in identity and happiness, together with the whole country successfully realising the strategic objectives to 2030 and 2045.
