According to reports from the communes and wards, in 2025, under the close direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the PPC, and with the concerted efforts of the entire political system, localities gradually stabilised their organisational structures, ensured smooth operations, and achieved many positive results across sectors.
The local economy continued its recovery momentum, with budget revenues in several areas meeting or exceeding targets. Trade, services, tourism, aquaculture, and agriculture-forestry-fisheries have progressively rebounded following natural disasters. Social order and safety remained stable, while national D&S were firmly maintained. The material and spiritual well-being of the people has steadily improved. Party building and the strengthening of the political system have also received due attention.
Regarding directions and tasks for 2026, the communes and wards identified the continued stabilisation of organisational structures following the administrative reorganisation as a priority, alongside improving the effectiveness and efficiency of grassroots governance and administration.
The focus will be on closely adhering to the targets and indicators set out in the resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and Party congresses at all levels, while promoting economic development in tandem with the rational utilisation of each locality’s potential and advantages. Priority will be given to developing trade and services, tourism, aquaculture, and sustainable agriculture.
Regarding preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, leaders of the communes and wards said they have proactively carried out preparatory steps in line with the directives of the central authorities, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Election Committee.
Alongside the achieved outcomes, the communes and wards also pointed out several difficulties and obstacles, and proposed that the province provide additional resources to invest in socio-eco infrastructure; develop resettlement areas to serve site clearance for a number of key projects; and address the consequences of natural disasters affecting agricultural production and aquaculture.
