These days, Ea M’Droh is taking on a renewed appearance - more spacious, well-developed, and brimming with vitality.
Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, accompanied by a provincial delegation, recently made a Lunar New Year visit to Ea M’Droh - a former revolutionary base village, offering festive greetings on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Binh Ngo) 2026 to policy beneficiary families. During the visit, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, together with the delegation, delivered 56 gift packages plus cash support for policy beneficiary households, alongside poor and near-poor families in Ea M’Droh Village.

Sharing with local residents, the Provincial Party Secretary highlighted Ea M’Droh as a heroic land steeped in revolutionary tradition, whose people made notable contributions during the resistance wars against foreign invaders, alongside efforts in national reconstruction after liberation. The village stands as a “red address” for educating today’s younger generations about revolutionary heritage. Thanks to the Party’s and the State’s sustained attention, the appearance of Ea M’Droh Village in particular, along with the wider commune, has been steadily transformed, assuming a refreshed and increasingly vibrant look.
Provincial leaders voiced their expectation that residents would uphold their proud heroic legacy, thus helping advance the continued growth of Ea M’Droh - formerly a revolutionary base village - alongside the commune at large. The Party committee and local authorities of Ea M’Droh Commune were called upon to give greater care to people’s livelihoods, with particular regard for policy beneficiary families, disadvantaged households, ethnic minority communities, plus those facing hardship. Priority was also attached to resolving matters concerning residential as well as production land, notably for ethnic minority households that have not yet received sufficient allocation.
According to Comrade H’Giang Nie, Secretary of the Ea M’Droh Commune Party Committee, amid mounting development pressures, preserving and promoting revolutionary traditions remains imperative. This legacy, however, ought to be carried forward through innovative thinking, manifested in tangible socio-eco outcomes, reflected in sustainable growth, steadily improved living standards, as well as strengthened public confidence in the Party’s leadership coupled with effective grassroots governance. A central objective set by the local Party organisation in collaboration with residents is for the commune to achieve new-style rural status by 2030.
“To enable Ea M’Droh to realise breakthrough progress, the Standing Board of the Commune Party Committee has resolved that, instead of chasing rapid expansion, emphasis will rest on enduring values that seamlessly combine a green economy, cultural identity, plus community-based tourism, with Ea M’Droh Village acting as the catalyst for broader influence. Our strategic direction centres on "return-to-the-roots" travel linked closely with indigenous cultural immersion. Visitors arrive in Ea M’Droh to hear accounts of the resistance wars by the fireside, savour bamboo-tube rice, then take part in brocade weaving alongside local residents”, Comrade H’Giang Nie shared.
