On the afternoon of February 6, the Provincial Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province held a meeting with representatives of the press, artists and intellectuals on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Spring of 2026.

Provincial leaders, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilisation, and the Board of Directors of Dak Lak Newspaper and Radio - Television viewing spring publications displayed at the meeting.

At the meeting, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council, acknowledged and commended the significant contributions made by the press corps, artists and intellectuals to the province’s overall development in 2025.

Entering 2026, she called on intellectuals and scientists to continue to promote their pioneering role in research and the application of science and technology, digital transformation and innovation, and to actively contribute policy proposals for the province in key areas such as improving labour productivity, deep processing of agricultural products, and the development of the green economy and knowledge-based economy, thereby helping to create new growth drivers for the locality.

For artists and writers, she expressed the hope that they would continue to create works of high ideological and artistic value that vividly reflect the province’s process of renewal and development, contribute to building the cultural value system and the image of Dak Lak people as civilised, friendly and compassionate, and inspire pride, a sense of responsibility and the aspiration to contribute within the community.

With regard to the press, she requested that journalists continue to uphold political steadfastness and professional ethics, effectively fulfil their role as the voice of the Party organisation, authorities and the people, proactively guide public opinion, promptly promote positive factors and advanced role models, and at the same time truthfully reflect the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people, thereby contributing to strengthening social trust and consolidating the great national unity bloc.

She affirmed that provincial leaders would continue to pay attention to and create favourable conditions for the press corps, artists and intellectuals to fully bring into play their capabilities, intellect and social responsibility. She expressed confidence that the press, artists and intellectuals would continue to accompany the province, contributing to building Dak Lak into a fast-developing, sustainable province with strong identity and happiness in the new period.

At the meeting, representatives of the press, artists and intellectuals delivered remarks expressing their delight at the attention shown by the Provincial Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and affirming their commitment to continue promoting their sense of responsibility, intellect and dedication, accompanying the province in the cause of renewal and development.
