Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee; Dao Tan Loc, former Member of the Party Central Committee and former Secretary of the former Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee; and Nguyen An Vinh, former Secretary of the former Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, exchanging views at the meeting.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Mr. Do Huu Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, briefed participants on the implementation of the province’s political tasks in 2025 and orientations for 2026.

Accordingly, 2025 marked the first year of operating the apparatus under the two-tier local government model, while the province was also heavily affected by natural disasters and flooding. However, with a strong sense of urgency and determination, the province completed a large volume of work and achieved many important results, ensuring progress in reorganising organisational structures and administrative units, directing the completion of Party congresses at all levels following the merger, and successfully organising the First Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 tenure. Socio-economic development continued to advance, with many indicators recording relatively strong growth. Major orientations of the 14th National Party Congress were promptly grasped and concretised, and preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term were carried out in accordance with prescribed procedures and regulations.

In 2026, the Provincial Party Committee identified 10 key tasks, focusing on thoroughly grasping and organising the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, providing comprehensive leadership and direction for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels, steering socio-economic development under a double-digit growth scenario, decisively implementing 28 key projects for the 2025-2030 period, and strengthening national defence and security while maintaining political stability and social order and safety.

At the meeting, former provincial leaders expressed their satisfaction with the achievements gained by the province and their confidence and expectations that, under the leadership of the Party and the solidarity of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, Dak Lak province would continue to achieve breakthrough development in the time ahead, together with the country advancing in the new era.

Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, expressed his sincere thanks to former provincial leaders for their affection, dedication and sense of responsibility, as well as for their profound, earnest and insightful contributions, rich in experience and intellect, demonstrating their close attention to and attachment to the province’s development.

He emphasised that, following the 14th National Party Congress, the country has entered a new development stage with higher and more sustainable requirements, aiming to realise the two centenary goals of the founding of the Party and the founding of the nation. In this context, Dak Lak is required to meet increasingly demanding requirements for rapid and sustainable development. However, the province continues to face many difficulties, particularly as its economic structure remains heavily dependent on agriculture and the living standards of a segment of the population remain limited. Therefore, Dak Lak must make greater efforts than other localities.
