The Provincial Election Committee convened its sixth session to review, assess and implement tasks related to the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People’s Councils at all levels in Dak Lak province for the 2026-2031 tenure.
The session was connected online to 102 communes and wards across the province.
According to Dak Lak Provincial Election Committee, preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 tenure have to date been carried out in a serious manner, ensuring progress and compliance with regulations.

The Provincial Election Committee has convened meetings and issued conclusion notices on the implementation of election work; disseminated documents of the National Election Council regarding election tasks; proposed that the National Election Council permit early voting for armed forces units stationed in the province; and adopted a Resolution announcing the official list of candidates for deputies to the 11th Dak Lak Provincial People’s Council for the 2026-2031 tenure by constituencies.
102 out of 102 Election Committees at commune and ward level have announced the official lists of candidates for deputies to the People’s Councils for the 2026-2031 tenure. Dak Lak province currently has 2,118 Election Teams across 2,119 polling stations in 102 communes and wards. All communes and wards have coordinated with the police force to review, compile and publicly post voter lists in accordance with the prescribed timeline.

To ensure the fruitful organisation of the election on March 15, 2026, Party Central Committee member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council and Chairwoman of the Provincial Election Committee Cao Thi Hoa An requested all units to strictly implement Conclusion No. 03 dated February 23, 2026 of the Politburo and notices of the Provincial Election Steering Committee, ensuring close coordination. She also instructed the provincial Public Security and Military forces to work with key localities to implement plans to safeguard security, maintain traffic safety and order, and remain ready to respond to unexpected situations, epidemics or natural disasters. Calling for renewed communication efforts, she urged enhanced visual communication at schools, industrial parks and on digital platforms so that March 15 truly becomes a major festival of the entire people.
“The time remaining until election day is limited, and this is the decisive peak period for ensuring success. I request all localities and units to be even more proactive, stay close to the grassroots, and prevent passivity or unexpected developments in any area, so that the election is conducted in a fair, safe and lawful manner”, Cao Thi Hoa An emphasised.
