Xuan Thien Group has proposed investing in the Ia Rve 1, 2, 3, 4 Solar Power Plant cluster in Ia Rve and Ia Lop communes, with a total planned capacity of 1,000 MW, integrated with a modern energy storage system, and total investment of over 21,000 billion VND. The project is expected to become operational in 2027, contributing to increased budget revenue and promoting local socio-economic development. The Group has requested Dak Lak authorities to support and guide procedures for early approval of the investment policy, thereby accelerating implementation progress and supplementing the regional power supply.
Following the field survey and reports from the investor, departments and local authorities, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged the efforts of the investor, departments, agencies, and local authorities in coordinating to remove obstacles and accelerate the progress of renewable energy projects in the province, thereby effectively harnessing the province’s potential and promoting socio-economic development while ensuring energy security.
Emphasising that clean energy development aligns with green growth and helps utilise local potential, the Provincial Party Secretary requested departments, sectors, and local authorities to continue supporting investors in completing legal procedures and ensuring project progress and quality. Simultaneously, enterprises are required to strictly comply with environmental protection regulations, use land efficiently, and ensure social welfare and livelihoods in project areas.
He assigned the PPC to review and adjust planning to align with the province’s socio-economic development objectives. Local authorities are to coordinate closely with investors to select appropriate plant locations, as well as adjust irrigation canal systems to maintain water supply for agricultural production. In addition, it is necessary to urgently develop training programmes to build a local workforce that meets project requirements, considered a key factor in the provincial development.
