At the project sites, representatives of investors together with contractors reported on implementation progress and public investment capital disbursement, while highlighting difficulties and bottlenecks, primarily site clearance.

Specifically, for the Ton Duc Thang Road project, a number of households along Le Thanh Tong Street have not agreed with compensation rates, arguing that the ward’s applied rates are lower than the land price framework stipulated in Resolution 19 issued by the provincial People’s Council. In Tan An ward, some residents have declined compensation payments, citing low prices and awaiting resettlement land allocation.

For the route project connecting National Highway 26 - National Highway 14 - Provincial Road 8, the contract expired on April 23, 2024 without extension, leaving the investor unable to disburse compensation payments.

Representatives of Suoi Xanh Coffee Cultural Ecological Urban Area project, phase 2, and Trung Nguyen Legend Coffee Factory project proposed that the delegation direct relevant departments along with agencies to shorten the handling time of procedures related to environmental permits, fire prevention and fighting, as well as other legal documentation.

At the inspection, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet acknowledged and commended efforts of investors, contractors, together with local authorities in implementing key projects in recent times.

He emphasised that these projects had significant importance in completing transport infrastructure, upgrading urban areas, and promoting the provincial socio-eco development. Accordingly, relevant units must enhance their sense of responsibility alongside act with greater determination in leadership and direction.

For transport projects, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the PPC to direct departments and sectors to prioritise resolving difficulties related to compensation along with resettlement support, ensuring the lawful rights and interests of residents in accordance with regulations. Contractors are required to capitalise on favourable weather conditions, mobilise maximum manpower as well as machinery to accelerate progress, while strictly ensuring construction quality and labour safety.

For urban infrastructure projects he stressed the need to closely align implementation with the provincial overall planning, ensuring environmental standards and architectural landscape. He also called on departments alongside sectors to proactively review and streamline administrative procedures, creating the most favourable conditions for investors to implement projects in line with commitments.
