This year’s Youth Month is particularly meaningful as it takes place while the entire Party and people are striving to achieve new accomplishments following the successful Party congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 tenure and the 14th National Congress of the Party, as well as the 95th anniversary of the Youth Union. It is also a time when young voters exercise their civic rights in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 tenure.
With this spirit, young people across the province are launching March with the determination to carry out numerous projects and initiatives that reflect sound policies and bring tangible benefits to local communities, contributing to a civilised and distinctive Dak Lak.
In Ea Knuec commune, under the slogan “Youth of Ea Knuec - Proud and steadfast in following the Party”, the communal Youth Union has focused on disseminating and educating Youth Union members together with young people about the traditions of the Party and the Youth Union. It has also launched emulation movements encouraging participation in socio-eco development, national defence and security, digital transformation, and communication on the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 tenure.

Youth enthusiasm during March has been further strengthened in border areas through meaningful activities jointly organised by the Youth Unions of Ea Sup, Ea Rok, and Ia Lop communes. These activities included planting 150 trees, maintaining the “Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful” road route, organising sports exchanges to strengthen solidarity, visiting and presenting gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, and tours to learn about border markers. These activities help foster patriotism and strengthen young people’s sense of responsibility in safeguarding national sovereignty.
Youth Union member Nguyen Van Tai of Ia Lo commune shared: “Participating in Youth Month activities helps me better understand the responsibility and pride of young people. I believe that when each Youth Union member contributes through practical actions, our homeland will develop in a more positive and sustainable way”.
In the eastern part of the province, officials, soldiers, and Youth Union members also offered incense at Le Thanh Phuong Temple, presented 20 gift packages to disadvantaged students, and inaugurated the “Gratitude Lighting” project, contributing to the preservation and enhancement of a historic site.
Activities also incorporated awareness campaign on maritime sovereignty and border security for young people and local residents.
