From the delegation’s responsibility to the people’s trust and expectations

Alongside the strong sense of responsibility and intellectual engagement demonstrated by the provincial Party delegation attending the 14th National Party Congress, officials, Party members and people across Dak Lak province have been closely following every development of the Congress, placing their trust in the strategic decisions that will shape the nation’s development in the new era.

Contributing a collective voice of responsibility and wisdom

Attending the Congress, the Dak Lak provincial Party delegation includes Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh, who was assigned by the Party Central Committee to participate with the delegation, along with 36 delegates representing the will, aspirations, intellect and resolve of more than 13,800 Party members across the province.

Fully aware of their political responsibility to the provincial Party organisation and the people, delegates have brought into play their intellect and sense of responsibility, contributing candid and constructive opinions that faithfully reflect the voices, determination and aspirations of the Party organisation, authorities and people of Dak Lak.

The delegation’s key focus has been to engage in substantive discussions and provide high-quality contributions to the draft documents submitted to the Congress. Key areas include improving development institutions, renewing the growth model, advancing economic development in tandem with social progress and equity; building Vietnamese culture and people; strengthening national defence and security, expanding external relations; and building a clean, strong Party and political system.

Carrying local voices and aspirations to the 14th National Party Congress, Nguyen Trung Tam, Secretary of Dong Xuan commune Party Committee and Chairman of the commune People’s Council, said that what people hope for most is that decisions adopted by the Congress will be implemented with strong determination, carried through to completion, and deliver tangible results.

Shared trust, shared expectations

In step with the nation’s major political event, officials, Party members and people across Dak Lak province place their full trust and highest expectations in the Party’s wise leadership.

Despite being 83 years old, during the days of the 14th National Party Congress, Mr Y Nguom Bya (of the M’nong ethnic group), from the former revolutionary base village of Dak Tuor in Cu Pui commune, has consistently followed the Congress proceedings on television. He expressed his hope that the Party and the State would continue to invest more strongly in ethnic minority areas and former revolutionary base regions such as Dak Tuor village.

Alongside the communication and organisation of meaningful activities towards the 14th National Party Congress, the Cu Pui commune Party Committee has also directed local units and villages to mobilise people to follow the Congress closely.

According to Y Kok Mdrang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Cu Pui commune Party Committee, officials, Party members and residents share a common expectation that, based on the orientations and tasks set out at the 14th National Party Congress, the Party and the State will continue to introduce specific mechanisms and policies for ethnic minority, remote and disadvantaged areas, helping narrow regional development gaps; providing more appropriate benefits for people with meritorious service to the revolution; and giving due attention to salary regimes for officials and civil servants under the two-tier local government model.
