Maintaining a high level of focus, ready for the “all-people’s festival day”

Authorities at all levels are intensifying final-stage preparations to ensure that the election of deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 tenure is conducted safely, democratically, and in full compliance with the law, truly becoming an “all-people’s festival day”.

Thorough preparation at every stage

Pong Drang commune has 44 candidates standing for election to the commune People’s Council for the 2026-2031 tenure. From March 3 to March 7, Pong Drang commune organised voter meetings for election campaigning, during which candidates presented their action programmes and proposed specific solutions they would implement if entrusted by voters, while also listening to the legitimate concerns and aspirations of the people.

Alongside campaign activities, preparations of facilities for election day are being actively carried out in Pong Drang commune. At each polling station, decoration, the arrangement of ballot boxes, writing desks, and the organisation of voter movement are implemented in a systematic manner, ensuring both solemnity and convenience for voters.

The Pong Drang Commune Police have proactively advised the commune People’s Committee in developing a detailed security plan, while closely coordinating with the commune Military Command to strengthen patrols and monitoring in order to promptly address emerging situations and prevent the formation of any “hotspots”.

Extending election information to grassroots communities

As a remote area, Cu Pong commune has identified the task of delivering election information to every voter as a key priority. A clear example is Cu Kanh village, where more than 70% of voters are from ethnic minority communities. Instead of relying solely on one-way communication through loudspeakers or social media, grassroots officials have adopted the approach of directly visiting households to disseminate election information to every family.

In Krong Buk commune, the Commune Election Committee has announced the list of candidates for the commune People’s Council across 9 electoral units. The voter list and the summary biographies of candidates have been publicly posted at polling stations, enabling residents to easily study, compare, and assess the capabilities of each candidate.

According to comrade Hoang Kien Cuong, Secretary of the commune Party Committee and Chairman of the commune People’s Council of Krong Buk commune, in order to ensure that voters receive accurate information, the Commune Election Committee has assigned specific responsibilities to organisations and individuals overseeing residential clusters, requiring strict diligence in guiding residents to study candidate dossiers.

The careful and urgent preparations, from organisation and security to communication across localities, have created a strong sense of readiness and broad consensus among officials, Party members, and people across the province. Everything is now ready for the all-people’s festival day, a day of trust.
