The provincial Election Committee inspecting preparations for the upcoming election

A delegation of Dak Lak provincial Election Committee, led by comrade Cao Thi Hoa An, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council and Chairwoman of the provincial Election Committee, recently conducted an on-site inspection and chaired a meeting to review preparations for the upcoming election day.

The delegation inspected polling station No. 38 in Buon Ma Thuot ward. During the visit, the delegation reviewed preparations of facilities as well as the posting of voter  and candidate lists. They also observed a rehearsal of the election process, including the opening ceremony, the announcement of election rules and polling station regulations, inspection and sealing of the main and auxiliary ballot boxes, and guidance for voters on voting procedure.

Addressing the inspection, comrade Cao Thi Hoa An commended the proactive effort of the locality in preparing for the election. She asked the locality to create an atmosphere reflecting the spirit of a nationwide festival in order to encourage voter participation. She also reminded the Election Team to carefully review all conditions related to facilities, sound and lighting systems, while ensuring security and order right from the entrance area, avoiding congestion or confusion when large numbers of voters gather during peak hours. Simultaneously, members of the Election Team must master election procedures and provide clear guidance so that every voter arriving at the polling station feels respected and clearly understands their rights and responsibilities when casting their ballot.

Immediately after the inspection, comrade Cao Thi Hoa An chaired a meeting with members of the provincial Election Committee to review preparations for the election across the province.

At the meeting, subcommittees reported on the progress of key tasks such as updating voter lists, ensuring security and order, preventing fire and explosion risks at polling stations, preparing plans to guarantee electricity supply for election activities, as well as conducting communication and visual promotion activities. In particular, the provincial Election Committee has focused on plans to mobilise voters in key areas and prepare for early voting in armed forces units.

Concluding remarks, comrade Cao Thi Hoa An acknowledged the proactive efforts and sense of responsibility demonstrated by agencies and localities in preparing for the election. She emphasised that from now until election day, Party committees together with authorities at all levels must continue to carefully review and accurately update voter lists to ensure the voters’ rights.

She also requested relevant agencies to intensify communication through diverse and vivid forms to encourage voter participation. Simultaneously, close coordination among relevant forces must be ensured to guarantee security and safety alongside remain ready to handle any emerging situations. This will contribute to the successful organisation of the election and ensure it truly becomes a nationwide festival for the people.
