More than 1,300 apartments from four key projects currently under implementation mark a strong transformation in social housing development in Dak Lak.
These projects not only seek to ease the acute housing shortage, but also clearly demonstrate the determination of authorities and sectors at all levels to provide modern and stable living spaces for low-income earners and workers.

According to investors, the Ha Huy Tap Residential Area, part of the An Phu urban area, comprises nine buildings with 330 apartments. To date, two buildings have been completed, with 65 apartments handed over to buyers, while the remaining buildings are scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2026. This is among the first social housing projects to be delivered, contributing to addressing urgent housing demand among low-income residents in the western part of the province.
Meanwhile, the Ecohome Harmony project, with a scale of 797 apartments, is also being accelerated, with the first building expected to be handed over in the first quarter of 2026 and the second in the second quarter of 2026. The social housing project at No. 02 Mai Hac De street, with 155 apartments, and the social housing project at No. 161 Nguyen Chi Thanh street, with 66 apartments, are likewise under intensive construction to be put into use soon.
Earlier, during the 2021-2024 period, in the eastern part of the province, the South Hung Vuong Social Housing project, with 393 apartments, was completed and handed over to residents several years ago. Each completed project provides hundreds of families with stable accommodation, gradually realising the people’s aspiration for “stable settlement and livelihood”.
The most notable highlight in the social housing development in the final months of 2025 is the province’s approval of investment policy for two large-scale social housing projects, with around 2,750 apartments and a total investment of over 3.1 trillion VND. These are the An Phu Social Housing project, in Binh Kien ward, with a scale of 2,270 apartments, and the Social Housing project in the north of Tran Phu street in Tuy Hoa ward, with 480 apartments. These two projects are expected to create strong momentum, serving as a powerful dual lever for the social housing market, particularly in the eastern part of the province.
Social housing development in Dak Lak is not carried out in isolation, but is integrated into overall urban planning, linked with transport systems, water supply, schools, healthcare and public services. This is a key factor ensuring that residents not only have homes to live in, but also enjoy essential amenities, thereby gradually improving quality of life.
According to the Department of Construction, in late 2025 and 2026 the province will commence 10 projects with 16,177 apartments and total investment of approximately 19.219 trillion VND. Of this figure, in 2026, the province is expected to develop around 3,900 social housing units. This provides an important foundation for Dak Lak to meet the target of 38,400 social housing units by 2030, as set out in Decision No. 444/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. In parallel, the simultaneous development of social housing and commercial housing will help balance the real estate market, moving towards harmonious and sustainable urban development and ensuring balanced benefits among the State, enterprises and the people.
According to Nguyen Thien Van, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, the development of social housing is a major and humane policy of the Party and the State, aimed at ensuring the right to stable settlement and livelihood for the people. At the same time, it serves as a dual lever that both ensures social security and promotes macroeconomic growth, contributing to a healthy, balanced and sustainable real estate market.
