To realise these goals, the Project sets out a range of synchronised solutions. Priority will be given to supporting women in developing sustainable business models associated with digital transformation, green transformation alongside application of ESG standards. The Project also focuses on brand development, intellectual property protection, trade promotion and market expansion for OCOP products combined with distinctive local products.
Women’s Union organisations at all levels has been identified as playing a central role in accompanying members throughout the process. According to the Dak Lak Women’s Union, a notable feature of the Project lies in shifting from fragmented support towards value chain-based assistance, accompanying women throughout their entrepreneurial journey.
“We do not stop at training activities but also connect resources, support brand building and product consumption, enabling women to confidently expand their economic models. In particular, the application of digital technology, online sales via social media platforms, e-commerce platforms, along with livestreaming is opening up new directions, enabling women to access broader markets,” emphasised comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Thai, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Chairwoman of the Dak Lak Women’s Union.
In practice, many women-led economic models in Dak Lak have demonstrated strong effectiveness, closely linked to local strengths such as coffee, durian, pepper, honey and traditional handicraft products.
Comrade Ho Thi Nguyen Thao, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and PPC Standing Vice Chairwoman, stated that the Project is intended not only to create favourable conditions for women’s economic development but also to establish a sustainable and women-friendly start-up ecosystem across the province. To this end, the province will focus on improving governance capacity, accelerating digital technology application, strengthening market connectivity while mobilising resources to accompany women entrepreneurs.
With a clear roadmap along with synchronised solutions, the Project is expected to create a strong breakthrough in the development of women-led economic models in Dak Lak.
