On January 27, Party Central Committee Member and Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet received a working delegation from Champasak province (Lao People’s Democratic Republic), led by Souksavanh Vilayvong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Champasak Provincial Administrative Committee, who paid a visit and extended New Year greetings to Dak Lak on the occasion of Viet Nam’s traditional Lunar New Year.

At the reception, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet expressed his sincere thanks to Souksavanh Vilayvong and members of the delegation for sparing time to visit and convey traditional New Year wishes to Dak Lak. He also briefed the delegation on key outcomes of the 14th National Party Congress and the 1st Dak Lak Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 tenure.

He noted that in recent years, former Dak Lak province and Champasak have effectively implemented the M.O.U on development cooperation for the 2022-2026 period, with key activities including reciprocal exchanges of high-level delegations and cooperation in areas such as healthcare, education, agriculture and tourism. On the basis of substantive and effective cooperation, he expressed the hope that Champasak would continue to give attention and direction to the signing and implementation of a new cooperation agreement for the next phase.
