On the April 17 morning, comrade Do Huu Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and PPC Chairman, received Ambassador Jigjee Sereejav together with his spouse during a courtesy visit marking the end of his tenure in Vietnam.

At the meeting, comrade Do Huu Huy expressed his pleasure in welcoming the Ambassador and his spouse to Dak Lak province. He affirmed that during his tenure in Vietnam, the Ambassador had made numerous positive contributions to promoting the friendship as well as cooperation between Vietnam and Mongolia. In particular, the Ambassador had consistently paid attention to fostering connections with localities, including Dak Lak.

Mongolia represents  a potential market for Dak Lak’s key export products such as coffee, durian, bananas, as well as garments, seafood, and consumer goods. These factors demonstrate clear complementarity between the two sides along with significant potential to further promote cooperation in the coming period. Building on the strong traditional friendship between the two countries, Dak Lak province and Orkhon province have initially established encouraging connections.

PPC Chairman Do Huu Huy emphasised that Dak Lak has considerable potential to expand cooperation with Mongolian partners, particularly in areas including large-scale agriculture, agro-processing, commodity trade, as well as tourism and people-to-people exchanges. Accordingly, he expressed the expectation that, through the Ambassador’s facilitation, more Mongolian enterprises would come to explore opportunities, invest, alongside establish provincial long-term partnerships. Dak Lak remains committed to providing the most favourable conditions to ensure such effective and sustainable cooperation.

Addressing the meeting, Ambassador Jigjee Sereejav expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm reception extended by the provincial leaders and PPC Chairman, comrade Do Huu Huy. He noted that during his tenure he had visited Dak Lak three times, as well as spoke highly of the provincial achievements, particularly progress towards becoming the “Coffee Capital of the World”.

Emphasising the strong bilateral relationship between Vietnam and Mongolia, the Ambassador affirmed that, in any position, he would continue to support alongside promote cooperation between Mongolian localities and Dak Lak province, especially between Dak Lak together with Orkhon provinces, particularly in agriculture, mining, and tourism.
