Comrade Do Huu Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and PPC Chairman, held talks with a delegation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Vietnam, led by Ambassador Bader Almatrooshi, to discuss as well as explore cooperation opportunities in the coming period.

At the meeting, Dak Lak province outlined cooperation priorities with the UAE in energy security, food security, green economic development and digital transformation. The province also invited UAE investors to explore opportunities in the South Phu Yen Economic Zone (EZ), a key driving force for development in the provincial south-eastern area.

Highlighting Dak Lak’s potential and advantages, UAE Ambassador to Vietnam Bader Almatrooshi said that the UAE is particularly interested in investment cooperation opportunities in energy, agriculture alongside technology. The delegation will compile and report to the UAE Government on Dak Lak’s proposals combined with investment projects, particularly those related to the South Phu Yen EZ and strategic infrastructure projects, as a basis for considering next steps to advance cooperation in the near future.

PPC Chairman Do Huu Huy expressed his hope the Ambassador and UAE partners will continue to show interest, deepen engagement along with encourage major UAE investors as well as corporations to explore opportunities in Dak Lak, contributing to fostering a practical, effective and long-term partnership between Dak Lak alongside the UAE.
