A working delegation from Dak Lak province, led by comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the provincial National Assembly Deputies Delegation, has recently met with Dak Lak - Mondulkiri Rubber Development Co., Ltd. (DAKMORUCO) in Mondulkiri province, Cambodia.
DAKRUCO’s rubber plantation alongside processing investment project in Cambodia was launched in 2007. The company has invested more than 12 million USD and currently manages over 1,623ha of rubber plantations, achieving an average yield of 1.8 tonnes per hectare.
From 2017 to May 2026, the company produced more than 21,518 tonnes of rubber latex, generating revenue exceeding 28 million USD, along with pre-tax profit of over 5.7 million USD. It contributed upwards of 1.8 million USD in taxes and fees to the Cambodian Government. The enterprise currently provides stable employment for 429 workers, more than 93% of whom are Cambodian nationals, while actively participating in local social welfare combined with charitable activities.

During the meeting, Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasised that DAKMORUCO stands as a typical model of economic cooperation between Dak Lak and Mondulkiri, contributing to stronger friendship coupled with cooperation between the two localities, alongside growing ties between Viet Nam and Cambodia.
Acknowledging the company’s achievements over nearly two decades of operation, the Provincial Party Secretary highly commended the company’s efforts in maintaining stable production, generating employment opportunities, and contributing to local social welfare. He also called on the company to continue improving governance efficiency, applying science along with technology, enhancing employee welfare, fulfilling its social responsibilities, protecting the environment, and proactively addressing challenges to ensure sustainable development.
Addressing the company’s recommendations, the Provincial Party Secretary said relevant agencies would coordinate with Mondulkiri provincial authorities to help resolve infrastructure, logistics together with regulatory procedures, creating favourable conditions for the company’s future development.
