The Standing Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee recently convened its 30th meeting to discuss the draft report on task implementation during the first nine months of the year, key directions and tasks for the final three months of 2026, as well as a number of other important matters.

According to the report, in the first nine months of 2026, the Standing Board and Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee focused on ensuring the stable operation of the two-tier local government system while streamlining the organisational apparatus. The economy maintained its growth momentum, with third-quarter growth estimated at 9.73% and nine-month growth at 8.51%, while the economy's size exceeded 156.6 trillion VND. The province welcomed 8.34 million tourist arrivals as well as recorded more than 2.3 billion USD in exports; bottlenecks were cleared for 258 out of 396 outstanding projects, while more than 96% of surplus public property and land assets were addressed. However, growth remained below the set scenario alongside public investment disbursement stood at just over 40%.

Overview of the meeting.

To achieve annual growth of at least 10% and full disbursement of public investment capital, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has stepped up leadership coupled with direction to promote the processing industry, stimulate tourism demand and boost agricultural exports; tighten fiscal discipline, accelerate land auctions along with tax debt collection; decisively reallocate capital from projects behind schedule; and focus on site clearance, creating cleared land funds while expediting key works and projects.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee gave opinions on matters concerning poverty reduction, forest land-use planning, funding allocation for cultural development, digital transformation, science alongside technology, renewable energy investment, the disposal of surplus office premises, legal dissemination and personnel affairs.

Concluding the meeting, the Provincial Party Secretary, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet stressed that the fourth quarter would be critical to fulfilling the 2026 targets and achieving double-digit growth. He therefore called on Party committees and authorities at all levels, as well as heads of agencies and units, to assume full responsibility together with decisively address bottlenecks at the grassroots level; accelerate public investment disbursement, increase budget revenue and effectively utilise land resources; remove obstacles hindering outstanding projects; complete planning alongside infrastructure for industrial parks coupled with industrial clusters; and create favourable conditions for enterprises coupled with investors.

The Provincial Party Secretary also requested the full resolution of surplus public assets and prolonged complaints; ensuring electricity combined with water supplies; proactively preventing and combating natural disasters; while maintaining security, public order and social welfare. Regarding poverty reduction, he called for clear assessments, targets along with roadmaps to help communes and villages facing especially difficult conditions move out of this category; putting people at the centre, linking poverty reduction with livelihoods, employment and income, while mobilising social resources. Discipline and administrative order must continue to be tightened, with greater accountability among agency alongside unit heads, backed by stronger inspection and supervision to ensure the successful fulfilment of the 2026 tasks.
