On September 22, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, led a delegation from the Provincial Party Committee Standing Board to visit, encourage as well as present gifts to officials, teachers and students at the Provincial Centre for Supporting Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities, while attending the 2026 “Mid-Autumn Festival - Moon of Love” programme.

In the 2026 - 2027 academic year, the Provincial Centre for Supporting Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities is caring for and educating 165 students, including 42 students with hearing alongside speech disabilities and 123 students with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. The centre has proposed that the province provide meal support, increase staffing, strengthen specialised medical examinations and screening, invest in specialised equipment combined with learning materials, and study the organisation of lower-secondary education.

At the programme, Provincial Party Secretary, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet acknowledged the centre’s efforts, stressing that caring for and educating children with disabilities is a responsibility shared by the entire political system coupled with society. He asked the education and health sectors, together with local authorities, to coordinate in addressing difficulties related to human resources, facilities and policies; provide meals for students; arrange support staff; as well as strengthen medical examinations, screening and counselling to assess the severity of disabilities. In the longer term, departments together with sectors should study options for education, life-skills training and career orientation after primary school, ensuring continuity in the children’s learning alongside community integration.

On the occasion, Provincial Party Secretary, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, the delegation and benefactors presented Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to the centre along with its students. Amid the lively sound of lion dance drums, the children enjoyed musical performances, shared the traditional festive feast and celebrated a warm as well as meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival.

*That afternoon, a delegation from the Provincial People’s Council Standing Committee, led by comrade Cao Thi Hoa An, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council, visited alongside presented gifts to children of wounded soldiers and fallen soldiers who had served in the Vietnam People’s Army together with People’s Public Security forces on the occasion of the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to H’Linh Bkrong, born in 2017, daughter of fallen soldier Y Quyet Bkrong in Ea Kao Ward, along with Ha Pham Truc Suong, born in 2019, daughter of fallen soldier Ha Anh Tuan, from Triet village, Ea Ktur commune.

At the families’ homes, comrade Cao Thi Hoa An and the delegation inquired about the children’s living conditions coupled with studies, encouraging them to behave well, study hard and uphold their families’ good traditions. Each child received a gift worth 700,000 VND, including cash alongside confectionery.

Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An stressed that caring for families with meritorious services and people who have rendered services to the nation is a responsibility, a matter of sentiment combined with an ethical obligation shared by authorities, sectors and society as a whole. Such efforts help encourage these families, particularly younger generations, to study, improve themselves as well as strive to move forward in life.

On the occasion, the delegation also visited children being cared for at Buu Thang Pagoda Social Protection Centre (Facility II) in Hoa Phu Commune and presented 55 Mid-Autumn Festival gift packages. The activity demonstrated care alongside solidarity with children facing special circumstances, helping them enjoy a joyful and warm Mid-Autumn Festival.
