Standing Board of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee works in Nam Ka and Yang Mao communes

A delegation from the Standing Board of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, led by comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, conducted field inspections as well as held working sessions with the Standing Committees of the Party Committees of Nam Ka and Yang Mao communes.

In Nam Ka Commune, the delegation surveyed the commercial sturgeon farming by Viet Nam Sturgeon Group at the Buon Tua Srah hydropower reservoir; inspected the bridge connecting Nam Ka Commune, Dak Lak, with Quang Phu Commune, Lam Dong; and landslide-prone along the Krong No River in the Blao Sieng Hamlet.

Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet urged the enterprise to continue researching while expanding production at an appropriate scale suited to actual conditions, improve efficiency, generate more jobs and livelihoods for communities, protect the ecological environment while making effective use of the water surface, thereby contributing to local economic development. Relevant departments together with agencies were asked to urgently review and assess the current situation, particularly in areas at high risk of landslides, as well as proactively propose timely solutions to ensure the safety of residents and inter-regional transport infrastructure.

The delegation also visited alongside presented gifts to policy beneficiary families, village elders and poor households in Lach Lo hamlet. The Provincial Party Secretary asked local authorities to address shortcomings in transport, electricity, irrigation combined with domestic water supply; encourage residents to develop household economies and establish effective production models. Youth Union members along with young people should play pioneering role in implementing clean-water projects serving residents.

In Yang Mao Commune, the delegation worked with the Standing Committee of the Communal Party Committee. According to the report, during the first nine months of 2026, the commune's budget revenue reached 8.13 billion VND, while total product value stood at 445 billion VND. Agriculture remained the key economic sector, with cold-water fish farming producing approximately 80 tonnes worth more than 20 billion VND in revenue. Alongside poverty reduction and new-style rural development, forest management combined with protection were also strengthened, bringing forest coverage to 75.64%. However, the locality still faces difficulties involving infrastructure, productive land, land reserves for ethnic minority communities, and development resources.

Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet acknowledged the locality's achievements as well as asked Yang Mao Commune to renew its working methods, with officials increasing their presence at the grassroots level, closely monitoring the situation, setting clear priorities, and focusing resources on resolving each task thoroughly while avoiding fragmented implementation. The commune should proactively coordinate with relevant departments and agencies, attract investment in agricultural processing to secure stable outlets for local products, alongside improving its capacity to manage national target programmes.

The Provincial Party Secretary called on the commune to intensify communication as well as encourage residents to modernise production practices and shift to suitable crops coupled with livestock; make effective use of garden land, develop household economies, increase incomes and gradually achieve sustainable poverty reduction. Simultaneously, the locality should proactively review alongside implement measures for natural disaster prevention and control; resolve productive land shortages for residents; while taking decisive action to reduce poverty locally.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Secretary and the delegation visited a pineapple-growing model operated by Lam Hung Agricultural Cooperative, as well as visited and presented gifts to two policy beneficiary families in Cham B Hamlet, Yang Mao Commune.
