PPC Vice Chairman, comrade Nguyen Thien Van has recently held a working session with the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo), led by General Director, Mr. Phan Cong Thanh, to review the company’s proposals along with recommendations for provincial investment project.
PVFCCo is a member of the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (Petrovietnam). In Dak Lak province, the corporation records annual product consumption of approximately 140,000 tonnes. In addition, from 2025, the company cooperated with relevant units to implement the Precision Agriculture Project, primarily focusing on building a land database and AI-powered fertilizer recommendation models. Furthermore, the company also carried out social welfare activities including building schools combined with houses for disadvantaged families in the province with a total amount of nearly 21.5 billion VND.

During the meeting, the corporation proposed a plan to implement the Phu My Innovation Center Project (PMICP) with the goal of developing a data platform and practical applications to support management as well as create a high-tech, digitized, and sustainable agricultural ecosystem.
The project will be implemented on an area of 20 to 30 hectares, including an administrative complex, research facilities, exhibition zones, farm, experimental garden for research on seeds, fertilizers, plant protection, and field models. The Innovation Center is expected to have a total investment of 250 billion VND, starting implementation in 2026 while going into operation for phase 1 in 2028.
Addressing the meeting, PPC Vice Chairman, comrade Nguyen Thien Van acknowledged, supported, and highly appreciated the investment idea coupled with plan of the PVFCCo. He also stated that the PMICP is consistent with the provincial orientation towards smart agriculture, innovation, and a circular economy.

The leader of Dak Lak province requested that departments, agencies, together with localities support and create favorable conditions for the company during the project implementation, especially in identifying as well as allocating suitable land within the planning, preparing related procedures, and coordinating in the tasks of operating alongside exploiting the center, with the aim of both researching and transferring science combined with technology and serving farmers.
At the meeting, PVFCCo donated 500 million VND to support constructing solidarity houses and gratitude houses in Dak Lak province.
