Ready to welcome investors, expanding development potential

Beyond investing in infrastructure and refining planning frameworks, localities across Dak Lak province are proactively improving the investment environment, preparing land resources alongside cultivating a skilled workforce to attract new investment flows.

Building a coastal growth pole

As one of the key localities within the South Phu Yen Economic Zone  (EZ), Hoa Hiep ward is gradually affirming its position as one of the industrial centres of the eastern Dak Lak. Alongside the operational Hoa Hiep 1 coupled with Hoa Hiep 2 industrial parks (IPs), the locality has recently welcomed Phu Yen High-Tech IP Infrastructure Investment and Business Project, valued at approximately 2.369 trillion VND. According to Chairman of Hoa Hiep ward People's Committee, comrade Huynh Nguyen Ngoc Giang, the project is expected to lay a solid foundation for attracting technology enterprises together with supporting industries.

Hoa Xuan commune is also undergoing rapid transformation to capitalise on major development projects. Notable examples include Hoa Tam IP Infrastructure Investment and Business Project - Phase 1, invested in by Hoa Phat Group with total capital exceeding 4.188 trillion VND, along with Bai Goc Port Construction Investment Project, carrying total investment of 16.3 trillion VND.

Chairman of Hoa Xuan commune People's Committee, comrade Hoang Anh Tuan said that the local authorities are working closely with relevant agencies, investors and task forces to accelerate asset surveys, land verification as well as implementation of compensation, support and resettlement policies in accordance with regulations. The commune is also intensifying public communication alongside dialogue with residents to build consensus, helping remove obstacles arising during project implementation.

Proactively enhancing investment appeal

In western Dak Lak, Buon Ma Thuot urban area continues to reinforce its role as the central hub of the Central Highlands, with numerous urban infrastructure, transport and commercial projects under implementation. Beyond being Vietnam's coffee capital, Buon Ma Thuot is also striving to become a regional hub for logistics, agro-processing as well as services.

Across the province, 102 communes along with wards are actively preparing land resources, upgrading infrastructure and developing economic models aligned with local advantages to attract investment. As new projects take shape, they are expected to generate employment, raise incomes for residents as well as contribute to local economic growth.

According to comrade Tran Phu Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Ward Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Buon Ma Thuot ward, the locality is prioritising accelerated public investment disbursement, resolving bottlenecks in compensation along with site clearance, particularly for key projects. Simultaneously, it is reviewing surplus land and public assets while finalising planning schemes aimed at attracting investment.

In Tan Lap ward, authorities are concentrating on assessing land resources, updating planning information while coordinating efforts to remove bottlenecks involving site clearance, urban management and technical infrastructure. The locality is also promoting administrative reform, coupled with digital transformation and information transparency, enabling investors to access information alongside implement projects more efficiently.

To capitalise on advantages created by Buon Ma Thuot - Khanh Hoa Expressway, Chairman of Krong Bong commune People's Committee, comrade Nguyen Ngoc Phap said the commune is preparing supporting infrastructure plans to strengthen connectivity, coupled with prioritising projects that generate employment while protecting environment and natural resources. The locality remains committed to accompanying enterprises together with investors in pursuing sustainable development.
