Dak Lak provincial master plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision toward 2050, opens up novel development horizons. This affirms the province as a crucial link connecting the Central Highlands with the Central Coast region, aiming to realize the aspiration to become a hub for the green economy, logistics, alongside sustainable energy.
The plan outlines a groundbreaking spatial structure comprising three development zones, three economic corridors, combined with two growth engine centers. Notably, Buon Ma Thuot continues to assert its leading role throughout the entire Central Highlands region. The province targets an average GRDP growth rate of 11% or higher along with a per capita GRDP exceeding 150 million VND by 2030.
Mr. Pham Dong Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, noted that businesses do not invest in the plan itself but rather in the opportunities that the plan unlocks; the plan's success is appraised not by its approval date, but by the speed at which it is put into practice.

To concretize commitments made to investors, Dak Lak PPC has established a task force to monitor coupled with support project implementation following the 2026 Master Plan Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference. The task force is responsible for tracking alongside expediting the progress of the 147 projects awarded at the conference, as well as swiftly resolving issues related to land, construction, together with the environment. Crucially, these procedures will be processed via a "green channel" mechanism to minimize delays.
Furthermore, businesses look forward to the province accelerating fundamental infrastructure projects, particularly those facilitating regional connectivity alongside East-West logistics. When transport coupled with digital infrastructure lead the way, complemented by close support from the task forces, private investment capital is expected to flow in sooner.
Proactively embracing the investment wave
To proactively seize the investment wave, comrade Do Huu Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, PPC Chairman, has emphasized a commitment to a service-oriented administration.
