Of these, 11 have secured in-principle investment approval, with a combined capacity of 1,793 MW and registered investment capital of 48.603 trillion VND. Four projects have been submitted for in-principle approval, while six are largely eligible for submission. Moreover, three projects are under review for bidding, six face outstanding obstacles, as well as 18 proposals have been received for appraisal since October 2026.
Concluding the meeting, PPC Chairman, comrade Do Huu Huy affirmed that the province would work alongside investors coupled with businesses to resolve difficulties and accelerate project implementation.
For the 19 projects that have received in-principle investment approval, comrade called on investors to honour their commitments, develop detailed schedules for each work item and establish clear implementation milestones, with a view to commencing construction in the Q1 of 2027. Projects falling behind schedule must provide specific explanations.
The PPC Chairman also instructed provincial departments, agencies and local authorities to coordinate in supporting investors, expedite dossier processing as well as carry out administrative procedures concurrently where permitted by regulations to shorten processing times. For each project, relevant agencies and local authorities must focus on resolving outstanding issues involving land, compensation combined with site clearance, ensuring that all necessary conditions are met for construction to begin as committed.
