Mr. Tran Duc Nhat, Chairman of the Tan Lap Ward People's Committee, said that, given its strategic location as the south-eastern gateway to the Buon Ma Thuot urban area, Tan Lap was prioritising logistics, agricultural processing, trade and services linked to high-value agriculture. The ward aims to achieve annual production value growth of 11.5%, while accelerating public investment disbursement, targeting completion of 99.9% of the capital plan allocated by higher-level authorities.
In Tan An Ward, revenue collection and management have been strengthened in tandem with land-related administrative procedure reforms. In the coming period, the locality will mobilise revenue from sources with further collection potential, particularly the non-state sector and land-related revenue, while tightening tax administration.
Accelerating public investment disbursement to support development
Alongside the task of increasing budget revenue, the localities are focusing on implementing public investment capital plans, gradually improving infrastructure and enhancing their capacity to support socio-eco development.
Mr. Dang Gia Duan, Secretary of the Ea Kao Ward Party Committee and Chairman of the Ward People's Council, said that after excluding funds for which there was no longer a spending requirement, the ward had achieved a 100% disbursement rate. For additional funding generated from increased revenue and expenditure savings, the locality had developed a disbursement plan, aiming to exceed 90% before December 31, 2026. It also aims to fully disburse the annual capital allocation funded by land-use fee revenue.

In Buon Ma Thuot Ward, public investment disbursement remains challenging due to the late allocation of additional funding, volatile construction material prices, rainy-season conditions and site clearance difficulties. According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, the locality is focusing on completing investment procedures, selecting contractors, expediting construction, speeding up the acceptance of completed works while addressing outstanding obstacles, with the aim of disbursing more than 95% of its 2026 capital plan.
At a recent working session with these localities, comrade Do Huu Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and PPC Chairman, urged them to urgently resolve obstacles as well as clearly define the accountability of agency and locality heads in meeting budget revenue along with public investment disbursement targets. Each project must be reviewed to identify delay causes, remaining workload and completion deadlines, with specific weekly alongside monthly disbursement schedules established. The localities must strengthen coordination with provincial departments and agencies, make effective use of available resources as well as strive to meet their assigned targets, thereby contributing to the provincial overall growth objectives.
Localities are focusing on harnessing growth drivers suited to the strengths of each locality. Buon Ma Thuot Ward is leveraging its strengths in trade, services, tourism and the urban economy; Tan Lap Ward is prioritising logistics, agricultural processing combined with infrastructure connectivity; Tan An and Thanh Nhat wards are promoting trade, services together with the private sector; Ea Kao Ward is developing ecotourism and services linked to Ea Kao Lake, alongside high-value agriculture; and Hoa Phu Commune is focusing on industry, agricultural processing as well as services supporting production.
