On July 17, the Dak Lak Provincial Steering Committee for Science and Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation (STIDT) officially launched a 100-day Action Plan aimed at removing bottlenecks while accelerating the digital transformation effectiveness (DX) province-wide.

The launch ceremony was connected online to all 102 commune and wards province-wide.
Running from July 10 to November 30, 2026, the plan targets bottlenecks across 10 key areas, including legal frameworks, digital infrastructure, digital data, digital platforms, online public services, digital economy, digital society, human resources, financial resources alongside public investment disbursement, and implementation discipline.
Key priorities include completing legal framework for DX, expanding digital infrastructure, providing equipment for all communes coupled with wards, establishing a data governance framework, digitising Party member records, rolling out the Electronic Party Member Handbook, restructuring administrative procedures, organising "Digital Literacy for All" classes, combined with training officials in data management, cybersecurity and AI
The plan seeks to accelerate DX across the political system by removing long-standing bottlenecks, advancing data-driven governance, improving transparency as well as efficiency, eliminating fragmented investment together with data silos while prioritising wider adoption of shared digital platforms.
At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Dinh Vien, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, announced the assignment of the Provincial Party Standing Committee members to oversee the implementation of eight flagship STIDT initiatives province-wide. The initiatives focus on digital infrastructure coupled with data, a regional innovation centre, DX in education together with healthcare, development of digital economy, cybersecurity, smart tourism alongside smart agriculture.

Launching the campaign, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet called on the entire political system to regard the 100-day Action Plan as an urgent political task, demonstrating strong determination, delivering measurable outcomes and strictly adhering to the principle of the "six clear requirements".
The head of the Provincial Steering Committee for STIDT called for greater efforts to remove bottlenecks in legal frameworks, digital infrastructure, data, digital platforms coupled with human resources; stepping up data sharing and expanding the use of shared platforms; ensuring the smooth operation of the two-tier local government model; strengthening implementation discipline; enhancing the accountability of agency heads; safeguarding cybersecurity; strengthening workforce capacity; while accelerating the disbursement of DX projects.
The Provincial Party Secretary called on officials, Party members, civil servants, public employees, the business community alongside the public to uphold solidarity, initiative and innovation while working together to successfully implement the 100-day Action Plan, contributing to Dak Lak's rapid along with sustainable development driven by STIDT.
