On July 27, the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held an incense-offering alongside memorial ceremony at the Eastern Martyrs' Cemetery, commemorating the 79th Invalids and Martyrs' Day anniversary (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026).

In a solemn atmosphere, provincial leaders together with delegates paid tribute to martyrs who sacrificed their lives for national liberation, the defence of the Fatherland as well as the people’s well-being.

The delegates, alongside local residents and relatives of fallen heroes, offered incense at each grave in the cemetery, expressing profound gratitude for their immense sacrifices.

Following the memorial ceremony at the eastern Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery, provincial leaders together with delegates offered incense at Nui Nhan Memorial, which commemorates more than 13,000 martyrs from former Phu Yen province who heroically laid down their lives in the struggle for national liberation and reunification.

The delegation then visited the Nguyen Huu Tho Memorial House, offering incense in tribute to the distinguished lawyer, exemplary patriotic intellectual, steadfast communist revolutionary and outstanding leader of the Party along with the nation.

On the same occasion, provincial leaders and delegates attended the annual commemoration ceremony for fallen heroes organised by the Phu Yen Ward Veterans' Association as well as visited the relatives of martyrs. These activities honoured fallen heroes and people with meritorious service to the revolution, while passing on the tradition of gratitude to younger generations.
