At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thien Van expressed his appreciation to the European Union and international organisations for their practical support for Dak Lak residents. In particular, their solidarity coupled with assistance during the floods in late 2025 helped the province overcome difficulties and restore stability to people's lives.

The PPC Vice Chairman spoke highly of CARE and EU programmes together with projects supporting livelihood development, climate change adaptation and community capacity building, particularly among vulnerable groups.

Mr. Gonzalo De La Rosa said CARE had implemented four projects in Dak Lak and planned to launch a new initiative to promote climate-resilient livelihoods, simultaneously supporting the adoption of new standards related to production alongside sustainable development. The delegation expected these projects to help increase the value of the coffee sector and support local communities. All parties would continue working closely together, mobilising resources, sharing experience while pursuing tangible outcomes.

Dak Lak PPC Vice Chairman, comrade Nguyen Thien Van said Dak Lak was working towards developing concentrated coffee-growing areas that meet international standards. The province hoped to continue receiving support and cooperation from the European Union coupled with CARE in developing the coffee sector and promoting the value of Dak Lak coffee, while linking economic growth with social welfare. These efforts are expected to expand livelihood opportunities, improve local incomes as well as foster increasingly effective cooperation between the province and international partners.
