The delegation reviewed implementation of the Ea H'Leo 1 Reservoir Canal System Project alongside a high-tech agricultural production project at Cu Bao Rubber Farm.

With total investment of 640 billion VND, the Ea H'Leo 1 Reservoir Canal System Project is designed to provide irrigation for 5,000 hectares of farmland, supply domestic water for around 10,000 residents, and meet water demand for industrial production coupled with livestock farming. Primary and secondary canals are largely complete, while land clearance has reached about 93%. The project developer urged local authorities to complete land acquisition by August 2026, keeping construction on schedule and allowing the system to enter operation as planned.

The delegation also conducted a site inspection of the high-tech agricultural production project at Cu Bao Rubber Farm. Representatives of Dak Lak Rubber JSC (Dakruco) along with Nhat Thong Agriculture Co., Ltd. briefed officials on implementation of their joint venture, outlining progress, remaining challenges, and proposals for provincial authorities.

Concluding the inspection, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasised that both projects are vital to agricultural development, water security, efficient land use, job creation, combined with socio-eco growth across Dak Lak.

He called on provincial departments, agencies, alongside local authorities, to coordinate closely with project investors, remove remaining bottlenecks, particularly those involving land clearance, and keep implementation on schedule.

Regarding the Ea H'Leo 1 Reservoir Canal System Project, he urged relevant agencies to complete outstanding land clearance as soon as possible, enabling early operation, maximising investment efficiency, while delivering greater benefits for agricultural production as well as local communities.

For high-tech agricultural projects, the Provincial Party Secretary encouraged investors to continue refining production models suited to local conditions, expand science and technology application, strengthen value-chain linkages spanning production, processing through marketing, enhance added value, as well as create more jobs offering stable incomes for local residents.
