Krong Buk commune participating in Dak Lak Durian Festival 2026

On August 22nd, Krong Buk Communal People’s Committee launched a wide range of activities in response to the Festival, drawing enthusiastic participation from a large number of officials, local residents, along with tourists.

The program focused on agricultural product promotion coupled with marketing; social welfare; sports; culture, arts, as well as social exchange and entertainment activities.

At the communal central park, booths set up by socio-political organizations, cooperatives, businesses, together with local household enterprises displayed the “Krong Buk Durian” brand alongside signature agricultural products, involving coffee, passion fruit, macadamia nuts, along with bird’s nest. Visitors combined with residents can enjoy complimentary tree-ripened durian tastings alongside Hoa Sua coffee.

Additionally, the Organizing Board presented 14 gift packages (over 1 million VND for each), including durian seedlings, fertilizers in conjunction with agricultural supplies to impoverished and disadvantaged households in the commune.

Regarding trade promotion coupled with marketing, Krong Buk commune hosted a livestream session to showcase agricultural products on digital platforms. The event featured comrade Tran Quoc Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Krong Buk Communal People’s Committee, alongside TikTokers together with local business representatives.

The livestream attracted significant interaction, effectively spreading the Krong Buk communal land, people, combined with crucial agricultural products to a wider range of audience, thereby promoting the products, expanding consumer reach, in coordination with facilitating market connections. According to the plan, the product showcase booths will be open continuously from August 22nd to August 29th, 2026. During the following days, Krong Buk commune will host a variety of engaging performances, including the culinary contest, the durian-eating contest finals, the community arts program, campfire, as well as volleyball and chess tournaments.
