On August 27, the Krong Nang Commune People's Committee launched a series of activities in response to the 2026 Dak Lak Durian Festival.

The activities, running from August 27 to September 3, include traditional ethnic costume performances; a trade fair and product exhibition; livestream sessions showcasing as well as selling durians; a digital transformation (DX) space; and experiential tourism activities at durian orchards.

More than 170 stalls showcasing local speciality products, agricultural produce and OCOP-certified products have been arranged to serve local residents coupled with visitors.

A highlight of the programme is the DX space, offering free Wi-Fi and featuring stalls equipped with QR codes for cashless payments alongside product traceability. The locality has also developed tour itineraries offering hands-on durian harvesting and tasting experiences at orchards.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Krong Nang Commune People's Committee, comrade Le Hong Van said the activities provide an opportunity to showcase the locality's potential and advantages in agricultural development, with durian as well as macadamia among its key agricultural products. Through the programme, the locality aims to develop the “Krong Nang Durian” brand, link agricultural production with eco-tourism and experiential tourism, while expanding markets for agricultural products.

Alongside these activities, Krong Nang is showcasing other local agricultural products, including coffee, avocado, macadamia combined with OCOP-certified products, further diversifying the products available to residents and visitors.
