Comrade Do Huu Huy, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, PPC Chairman, has recently inspected the progress of land clearance for the Coastal Road Project section through Tuy An Dong commune.
According to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects in the Eastern Region, after 10 days of implementing the “30-day intensive land clearance campaign” for the Provincial Coastal Road Project, land clearance work has achieved numerous positive outcomes, with several localities completing alongside exceeding planned schedule. By May 15th, 17.06 km of the entire route had been handed over, reaching 77.02%, equivalent to 99.07% of target set for for the first 10 days of the campaign. The goal is to complete 100% of the land clearance along entire route by August 31st.

Reporting to the working group, Chairman of Tuy An Dong Communal People’s Committee, comrade Tran Van Bien said that in implementing the “30-day intensive land clearance campaign”, the locality mobilized the entire political system, intensified propaganda and persuasion to encourage residents to support hand over land for the project’s construction. So far, the locality has handed over 5.69km out of 7.68 km of the total length of the route, reaching approximately 74%. However, the implementation process still faces some difficulties, with many households making requests related to compensation rates for houses combined with structures. Some sections have been handed over but the contractor has not yet started construction, etc.
PPC Chairman, comrade Do Huu Huy acknowledged the locality’s efforts in propaganda, mobilization, and organization of the intensive land clearance campaign. Comrade Do Huu Huy expressed his gratitude to the local residents for their cooperation with the local government in relocation and land handover for construction. Simultaneously, he requested Tuy An Dong commune to continue to closely coordinate with the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects in the Eastern region, political along with social organizations, and functional forces to resolve arising difficulties, especially those related to compensation policies.

The PPC Chairman emphasized that the Coastal Road Project is a key infrastructure project with significant importance for the socio-eco development of the provincial eastern region. Therefore, units must focus intensely and accelerate the approval of compensation plans, payments to residents, and encourage the handover of land according to the plan. The investor together with contractor need to urgently implement construction immediately at the locations where land has been handed over, avoiding delays that affect the morale of the people and the overall progress of the project.
