As part of the Dak Lak Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference, a voter engagement session as well as dialogue involving the provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, the People's Council, the People's Committee together with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and enterprises, cooperatives alongside business households will take place this afternoon, June 25.
The conference is expected to serve as an effective bridge between authorities coupled with the business community, helping remove bottlenecks, improve the investment environment as well as accelerate private sector development in line with Politburo Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW.
Listening to address challenges
The conference will be held at the PYTOPIA Convention Centre in Tuy Hoa ward through both in-person along with online formats. Participants include provincial leaders, representatives of departments, agencies and local authorities, together with a large number of residents, enterprises, cooperatives and business households province-wide.

According to comrade Le Dao An Xuan, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Deputies’ Delegation, the organising committee has received 101 proposals along with recommendations. Among them, 18 fall under the jurisdiction of the Government and central ministries combined with agencies, while 83 relate to provincial authorities. The recommendations focus on improving the investment and business environment, refining institutional frameworks alongside policies, supporting private sector development, resolving bottlenecks related to land, planning, credit access, digital transformation (DX), science and technology, along with infrastructure development serving production and commercial activities.
A notable feature of the conference is that residents, enterprises, cooperatives combined with business households will directly present their opinions, recommendations and proposals to provincial leaders. Representatives from the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council will respond to matters within their mandate, while the PPC Chairman, together with leaders of relevant departments coupled with agencies, will directly address issues under the PPC’s jurisdiction.
Supporting the private sector
According to comrade Pham Dong Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, the conference demonstrates the provincial commitment to accompanying the business community. Enterprises hope the province will continue accelerating administrative reform, shorten processing times for land, investment, construction and environmental procedures, while supporting enterprises in accessing finance, expanding markets, strengthening corporate governance, alongside advancing digital and green transformation.
The Provincial Business Association has also proposed studying mechanisms aimed at attracting strategic investment in logistics, deep processing industries, high-tech agriculture, tourism as well as digital economy, further reinforcing Dak Lak's role as a regional connectivity hub within the Central Highlands - South Central Coast development corridor.

Representing investors operating in the province, Mr. K.V.S.R. Subbaiah, General Director of KCP Vietnam Industries Co., Ltd., said the company expects the conference to become an effective bridge between authorities and business community. The company recommended that central authorities continue implementing measures to effectively curb sugar smuggling while reviewing appropriate tax policies to enhance the competitiveness within domestic sugar industry. It also called for improved policies supporting biomass power generation and ethanol production in order to maximise renewable energy potential alongside increase the sugarcane industry value.
Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Deputies’ Delegation, affirmed that the conference holds particular significance in building an open, transparent together with business-friendly investment environment. It serves not only as a channel for provincial leaders to directly hear aspirations, concerns and challenges facing enterprises coupled with investors, but also as an opportunity for management agencies to identify shortcomings in governance and administration, paving the way for timely corrective measures.
The province will continue institutionalising a regular government-business dialogue mechanism, thereby fostering an increasingly favourable investment environment, mobilising development resources, stimulating production together with commerce, generating employment, as well as successfully achieving socio-eco development objectives in the new phase.
