On May 16, Dak Lak Department of Finance organised the first Business Coffee programme of 2026 to facilitate exchanges as well as dialogue between provincial leaders and the business community.

Welcoming participating enterprises community, Provincial Party Secretary, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet highly appreciated the business sector’s contributions to the provincial socio-eco development in recent years. He stressed that enterprises must boldly innovate their thinking, improve governance capacity, accelerate application of science and technology, promote digital transformation, while pursuing green and sustainable development to enhance competitiveness amid the new context.
He also affirmed that the province would continue listening to alongside accompanying enterprises, while improving investment environment, together with building a service-oriented administration that measures effectiveness through satisfaction of people and enterprises.

Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested departments together with sectors to enhance their sense of responsibility and proactively address difficulties facing enterprises, particularly issues related to land, planning, investment combined with administrative procedures. He also called for the Business Coffee programme to be maintained regularly in a practical and effective manner.
At the programme, representatives of the Department of Finance updated on the provincial socio-eco performance in Q1 of 2026, which recorded numerous positive indicators. The PPC has developed monthly and quarterly growth scenarios, alongside prioritising efforts to resolve difficulties for enterprises, improve the investment along with business environment and accelerate administrative reform. The province is finalising adjustments to the Provincial Planning for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2050, alongside preparations for the conference announcing the adjusted provincial planning combined with investment promotion activities in 2026.
During the programme, representatives of enterprises coupled with business associations discussed a range of issues related to planning, investment promotion, business environment improvement and provincial competitiveness enhancement.
Participants proposed developing the Business Coffee programme into an effective dialogue channel capable of addressing difficulties facing enterprises. Many enterprises also recommended continued acceleration of administrative reforms, improve access to resources, land and credit, while shortening processing time for procedures related to investment, construction and planning.

Concluding the programme, PPC Chairman, comrade Do Huu Huy affirmed that the province consistently regards the business community as an important driving force for local socio-eco development. He stressed that the Business Coffee programme not only serves as a dialogue platform, but also reflects the government’s commitment to accompanying enterprises in building a more transparent, favourable as well as competitive investment environment.
The PPC Chairman requested departments and sectors to continue renewing their service mindset while enhancing responsibility in handling enterprise-related matters. The reception alongside settlement of recommendations must have clear focal points, timelines and outcomes. He also expressed hope that business associations would further strengthen their role as a bridge between enterprises together with authorities, contributing to development of a sustainable business community, alongside supporting the provincial double-digit growth target in the coming period.
