PPC Vice Chairman, comrade Dao My recently received and held a working session with representatives of Lulu Group International from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
During the meeting, Mr. Mirash Basheer, Executive Director of Lulu Group International, said the group operates more than 280 supermarkets across 22 countries, primarily throughout the Middle East and Asia. Lulu Group currently sources over 300 product categories from Vietnam. The corporation has expressed strong interest in Dak Lak’s key exports, including coffee, processed agricultural products alongside seafood, while seeking deeper insights into production capacity and supply capabilities of local enterprises in order to expand cooperation in coming years.

PPC Vice Chairman, comrade Dao My introduced Dak Lak’s potential combined with advantages in agriculture, processing industries, logistics and trade. He also shared development orientations for an integrated economic corridor connecting Dak Lak with South Central Coast region, creating favourable conditions for exports to international markets.
PPC Vice Chairman, comrade Dao My affirmed that provincial authorities remain committed to accompanying and providing maximum support for administrative procedures as well as creating most favourable conditions for partnerships between foreign corporations and domestic enterprises. Regarding logistics infrastructure, the province is prioritising investment in connections with deep-water seaports while enhancing capacity for large cargo vessels, helping reduce transport costs and shorten shipping times to Middle Eastern markets. He expressed confidence that Lulu Group International’s increasing interest in Vietnamese products, especially those from Dak Lak, would pave the way for broader cooperation in the future.
During this working visit, Lulu Group International conducted field surveys at several leading coffee-processing enterprises, including Dak Lak September 2 Import-Export One Member Co., Ltd. (Simexco Dak Lak), An Thai JSC together with Aeroco Coffee, alongside seafood-processing enterprises in provincial eastern part. The group is also expected to hold specialised working sessions to finalise product categories, quality standards and supply methods.
