Beyond prioritising improving product quality and expanding markets, multiple businesses in Dak Lak province have proactively pursued the National Quality Award (NQA), affirming brand positioning both domestically alongside internationally.

Positioning brand through products’ quality

The NQA is presented by the Prime Minister to organizations and businesses with outstanding achievements in production, trade, combined with services across Vietnam.

In Dak Lak province, international standards have been conquered by impressive names, most prominently Simexco Daklak (2-9 Dak Lak Import-Export Co., Ltd.). Mr. Thai Anh Tuan, General Director of Simexco Daklak, affirmed that the National Quality Gold and Silver Awards are well-deserved “sweet fruits” for a 32-year journey of persistent investment along with comprehensive innovation, further boosting the company’s confidence in establishing a solid brand reputation with global strategic partners.

The local processing industry has also made solid progress in standardizing its competitiveness. As evidence, KCP Vietnam Industrial Co., Ltd. (KCP) consistently upholds FSSC 22000 quality management system, SEDEX certification, and corporate ethics standards. “The National Quality Gold coupled with Silver awards reflect technological innovation and the development of a sustainable production integrated with supply chain optimisation. KCP remains committed to delivering high-quality products; advancing ESG (environmental, social, and governance) goals to achieve sustainability, decrease carbon emissions by 50% by 2030, achieving ‘Net Zero’ by 2050, as well as ensuring full-recyclability,” said Mr. K.V.S.R. Subbaiah, General Director of KCP.

The impetus from prestigious awards

It can be seen that the Dak Lak provincial enterprises honored at the NQA represent exemplary enterprises in successfully applying management systems alongside improvement tools, achieving outstanding production along with business performance. They are also reputable enterprises in the locality, leading the productivity combined with quality movement, possessing a strong competitive position regionally and internationally, making positive contributions to the community, society beside international integration process.

Since 2011, Dak Lak provincial enterprises have proudly received 2 Gold together with 10 Silver National Quality Awards; including KCP, Simexco Daklak, Phuong Tuan Construction and Advertising Co., Ltd., Phu Yen Food Industry JSC, Dang Phong Production - Trade - Service Import Export Co., Ltd., as well as the Central Branch of Saigon Beer JSC in Dak Lak; 721 Coffee Co., Ltd., among others.

According to Ms. Lam Vu My Hanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, despite numerous challenges in recent years, many businesses have demonstrated their ability to respond flexibly, adapt strongly, apply tools to improve productivity alongside quality, innovate coupled with perfect their management systems, etc., contributing to developing the economy provincially and nationally.

In 2026, the NQA will continue to serve as an opportunity for businesses to be honored, recognized, together with widely promoted. Therefore, Dak Lak provincial businesses should continue to research and apply the NQA criteria in reviewing combined with management system enhancement, responding to alongside participating in the award with practical activities, to create new momentum as well as enhance the competitiveness of Dak Lak provincial products in domestic coupled with international markets.
